In looking at evidence on what is best for patients and as part of the 4M initiative, there is going to be a delirium implementation for Med-Surg and the ED.
Starting on Tuesday November 30th there will be a new delirium assessment for nurses to complete on patients. If the patient comes back as an initial positive they will contact the provider to decide if delirious and the provider will order the new delirium order set if appropriate.
